Served a private language-immersion elementary school via marketing and fundraising initiatives plus event management.
· Reported on monthly and YTD gift processing, maintained department budget. Presented projections for annual fundraising and philanthropic event initiatives in accordance with the organization’s five-year strategic plan.
· Implemented philanthropic & community engagement programs; raised $80,000 annually for annual operating budget campaign and over $100,000 each year for annual Auction & Gala.
· Graphic designer, copywriter, and publisher for all digital marketing and development campaigns.
· Steward for donor relationships and volunteer coordination; recruited and managed teams of 80+ people for all events.
Selected Accomplishments:
· Promoted twice from Office Assistant to Development Assistant to Annual Giving Manager
· Key driver in $6M Capital Campaign to fund a 10-classroom building on campus grounds. Supported the Head of School and Development Director in stewardship, funding proposals, and community events to increase philanthropic revenue.
· Established new campus programs: Alumni Parent Network and Alumni Relations committee plus simultaneous event management logistics for 25th anniversary block party celebration.
The International School (now called International School of Portland) celebrated 25 years in business during the time I was a Special Events and Annual Giving Manager. Each year, the school had four major campaigns - each hosting an on-site event with specific donation asks to the community. Below is an annual fundraising report and a special appeal solicitation article. The pieces served as internal collateral to inform parents and teachers of how donated funds were being used.
